Prescription (Rx)

Our goal is to finish all consultations within a 12-hour timeframe. Nevertheless, the duration of the consultation may be prolonged due to insufficient medical information, technical issues, or a high volume of patients.

AlphaCare Inc. providers may renew a 30-day supply of many prescriptions twice a year, when clinically appropriate. However, there are some medications that are not allowed on our platform, including but not limited to controlled substances regulated by the DEA and experimental drugs. When requesting a refill, it's essential to provide us with all of the necessary information about the medication. You have to upload the prescription from your previous doctor and the pill bottles. 

Yes, our doctors can prescribe antibiotics, but only when it is deemed medically necessary. We are aware of the risks associated with over-prescribing and therefore ensure that any antibiotics prescribed are done so with the utmost accuracy and professionalism. The particular antibiotic prescribed will be determined based on best clinical practices for the individual's diagnosis. It should be noted that requests for a specific type of antibiotic cannot be guaranteed.

You will receive an email from AlphaCare once your prescription has been submitted. It is recommended that you get in touch with the pharmacy you have chosen to verify the availability of your prescription.

AlphaCare does not distribute prescription medications. If a doctor writes a prescription, it will be transmitted either electronically or via phone to the pharmacy of your preference.

AlphaCare Inc. does not offer a guarantee for prescriptions. The decision for the most appropriate treatment lies with the physician. Our licensed healthcare providers do not provide prescriptions for substances controlled by the DEA, non-therapeutic drugs, and certain other substances that may pose a risk due to their potential for abuse. Additionally, our doctors at AlphaCare do not prescribe non-therapeutic drugs like Viagra and Cialis.

Yes, you can request an Rx refill. However, our healthcare practitioner will first verify your condition, medication, and dosage before issuing the prescription refill. We do not prescribe and refill restricted medications. 

 

 

We do not issue prescriptions for controlled substances such as marijuana, xanax, etc.

We issue medication to patients who have submitted an electronic consultation form and fulfill our treatment requirements. If you desire a prescription for your partner, they must complete the consultation process and grant their consent for treatment.

Following the submission of your consultation form, we will send you a confirmation email that includes an electronic prescription that can be forwarded to your pharmacy.

Refund Policy: 

Our consultation fee is non-refundable. However, we may refund if a health care practitioner doesn’t provide you with a treatment plan or if you cancel the online consultation (terms and conditions apply.)

Medicines Aren’t Included In Consultation Fee!

We only charge for online medical consultations. You need to pay the pharmacy to get your medicines.

Pay Per Visit:

There is no contract or monthly subscriptions. Just pay your consultation fee on each visit. You can also submit a consultation form for another person (your friend or family member.)
